Maybe I should have clarified: “We would be better without a Congress, as it is now.” It is totally corrupt and needs a thorough cleansing: of the people placed there, how bills are not “clean” but padded with pork for special interests, how lobbyists influence votes-pay to play, insider trading, special benefits for Congress while they vote for scraps for the “plebeians”.
