I am old enough to remember real journalism, blistering editorials, factual accounts of events and exposes. Now its endless propaganda, cronyism, hit pieces and lies.
When I was young, the Journalist School was estimed and produced the best writers in my country. In order to be enrolled in the Journalist School, one had to pass rigorous tests in current events and spelling/grammar.
Before I was aware of anything deep state or the likes, I noticed that the writing skills of journalists up through the 80's and 90's had deteriorated to a level worse than ever.
I didn't think of any "ulterior" motive back then, but when I look back today, I think it was a turning point. Journalists were always leftists, but now they were also ignorant, bordering to stupid. I think this is when the grooming started, and slowly turned critical journalism into mouthpieces of the big state.
I know I'm generalizing, but it seems to me the intelligent and critical journalists are very rare, and have to keep quiet so they are not outed and ostracized. Peer pressure is very strong...
Doesn't help that Wall Street is financing the transition of the educational system for dumb and dumber. All calculated to get to that good old tax payer funded scholership and debt money to run these students into the ground intellectually and financially. The goal is for that worthless diploma, with nothing behind it. Bet you anything it's all about that local, state or federal payroll job where the government employee does not even meet with the public but now we have to go through a phone system calculated to defeat you, to say nothing of their antiquated computer systems that are down every other day. We got ourselves a government that refuses to govern, and that is the way we have been infiltrated and why our country will grind to a halt if nothing is done soon.
The modus operandi are probably different from country to country, but it seems like a common denominator is the dumbing down of the people to make them obedient servants.
With the advent of Twitter, I noticed a trend in journalism to have articles be screenshots of tweets. That is not journalism, that is aggregation and regurgitation. It used to piss me off, because it was lazy. I have a different perspective now , but I still feel the laziness is permissive and I hope that changes going forward.
I hear yah!
Do we have a DD on tracing these funds? It seems that this is the case, but do we have a clear line of funds showing this? Or is this all speculation, based off of the connections that SBF has with ex-Clinton/Obama people, and the fact that FTX was used in Ukraine? We should be able to track these transactions if this is the case
When was that? ww1 was fake news, ww2 was fake news. vietnam, desert storm, oklahoma city bombing, jfk. all fake news.
are you retarded?
Kudos to Mr Woods for using my favorite descriptor: the circle jerk
I said the same thing the other day. I'm not even 40 and I still remember when financial fraud was something that would be in the papers for weeks; Now people steals billions from public and privates sectors and no one bats an eye.
Right? Bernie Madoff was in the news for months.
Where are those stalwart guardians of the Republic — Woodward and Bernstein?
Well stated. All those corporations that sold out to the deep state have become meaningless, contemptible, anathema.
the fact that people continue to hope journalist would report on stories is pathetic.
these are lobbiest. they are propstitutes who get paid to write fake news. and the ones who write tons of fake news get rewarded with fake prizes.
it's not that the msm wont report on this, its that all of this would have been labeled disinformation and censored on twitter. elon firing all of the deep state retards is why we're seeing these stories at all.
Where is Jack Anderson when we need him.
