Smart move. If you haven't filled up your gas tank... then do it tonight before the speech.

If you have a last minute trip to the store... do it sooner rather than later.

Blackout may mean internet disruptions, banking disruptions... and could affect debit / credit cards, which affect trucking, grocery deliveries, fuel deliveries, etc... . Get what you need to get by, just in case.
