Honestly, at this point, it may take decades. The DS is so entrenched that weeding them out will be a long and costly affair.
Sometimes, the most peaceful way to eliminate the enemy is to let them die. That's what the US did with the Soviet Union. We waited and held off a nuclear apocalypse and then their internal rot consumed them from the inside. President Trump has given the DS a death blow, but we may not see it in our lifetime. Probably will be seen in our kid's lifetime, definitely in our grandkids' lifetime.
