If he gets in as speaker, McCarthy is just going to obstruct, twist and delay, so that no investigations of anything especially over the last three years will happen.

He wont get in as speaker, he might threaten to do so to push the Cabal over the edge. Him getting in, in anyway, during this "PAUSE" will not serve any practical purpose.
