I understand the point about the court system but at the same time prudence and restraint must be practiced. What are you guys advocating, that we just go out and shoot people? You realize we'll just go to jail too, right?

This story aside, you can't just go around killing people on suspicions, is my point. These big-ten-gallon wearers with the "SHOOT YOUR LOCAL PEDOPHILE" business "ain't" right. You could end up killing someone who is innocent.

As I said in another comment, there are instances where immature teens trying to make their friends laugh will just shout "pedophile!" at passerby. When Mr.-Texas-Ten-Gallon hears that, grabs his gun and tries to be a hero before any type of trial or even further investigation takes place, he ends up killing a completely innocent person who was just minding their own business.

I don't like it any more than you.
