I think it was in the MSM because they couldn't hide it. My next door neighbour with Alzheimers died very quickly in a nursing home of "covid" pneumonia but his tests were negative. Hmmm.
I believe it was given to suppress the anxiety of being unable to properly breathe (potentially just as much to quieten the anxiety of the caregivers too). Thus causing more respiration suppression and anxiety. But wait, we have a cure for that anxiety- more Midazolam. IIRC Matt Hancock (of 'I'm a Celebrity' fame) claimed it offered, at least, a good death. The only island whose shores he should grace are of a Cuban geographical placement.
I think the midazolam was used in severe overdose to suppress respiration. at least in the UK within nursing homes.
