Too risky. His cardiologist said to NEVER remove the Coreg regardless of what any other doc said. He was very close to death when he was diagnosed. I did research and his life expectancy was 5 years max and he is still here after 15. But the medical world changes a lot so I will do the research again. Thanks for the idea! I haven't heard anything about medicine shortages, have you, or anybody?
What does Coreg do? What is his diagnosis?
idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy
I just like to read into these things when they come up. You may be interested in this:
Does he drink milk?
He sure tries, always thought he was lactose intolerant but ate ice cream by the buckets. Will drink 2% sometimes but not very often. He has always worked outside so I didn't think D was an issue. The docs didn't know and they never asked me but he had a couple of bad teeth issues when he went into the mountains. I think it got into his heart. Thanks so much for the links, I will definitely use them.
Glad to hear about the extra years. I haven’t heard about any medicine shortages no. Mainly the supply chain is what seems to be the most vulnerable. Hope the research leads to a solution for you.
