Seems like a really defeatist way to look at God, cornering us into not having any choice but to believe in Christianity.
I believe God to be more benevolent, and much more passive, than Christianity would make him out to be.
What is wrong with Christianity?
Because it condemns certain behavior which may seem arbitrarily decided by cavemen?
Nothing's wrong with Christianity. But the man-made way of interpreting God is not right.
But to believe that God restricts us to love him or to restrict himself to loving us only through one way - the Holy Bible - seems terribly narrow-minded and disingenuous to His greatness. It's a very artificial and man made imposition to assume God is a megalomaniac the way some religion make him out to be.
God gave us different ways to reach out to him. Giving him a man-made quality is against nature and not the right way. He is beyond human qualities.
Your idea of god is a pantheist pipe dream.
God controls every single thing that happens, does that make him a despot? A tyrant?
Satan dwells in your interpretation, ideas of unfairness, feelings of inferiority.
God is righteous, we are not.
There is only ONE truth. ONE.
I'm not the one anthropomorphizing God and then claiming he's beyond human understanding.
No, to believe in Christ, to trust in God's word, Christ is God's word distilled and formed into a man.
God made us for a reason, a hands-off passive approach to the creation simply isnt possible, as he permeates it all, even the ugly parts.
Why does evil exist if God is wholly good and wholly perfect?
Why did He create man if He is self satisfied?
So basically, because I was born on a continent that started with Daoism but not Christianity, I'm going to Hell.
God really seems unfair.
This conversation was meant to set you on the right path. Millions and millions of pagans died without Christ. It's called a spiritual war for a reason, and indeed, the satanists have a REASON to hate God, for they are not from Him.
Which are you? Someone who hates God for His nature? Hate the truth because it is ugly?
Mercy or justice? You cant have both
If god was as merciless and megalomaniacal as you act, he would have done the despotic thing and just destroyed Earth long ago.
It is by His mercy that pagans have a choice.
Your problem is a fundamental misunderstanding of Christ and the concept of faith.
The Tanakh includes the bible. Are they going to hell?
You cannot simultaneously claim Christianity is the only possible faith while denouncing the faith from which Christianity arose.
You cannot claim God to be all loving while saying God won't love you if you aren't a Christian but follow God in another way
You cannot claim God to be to beyond human understanding while presuming Christianity to be the only way to interpret God.
Your argument isn't just flawed, it's contradictory and asinine
I don't have a problem with the Christian faith. Your relationship with God is your right and choosing. But if you deny my relationship with God just because I'm not a Christian, then you're not being a good Christian because you think God doesn't care and anthropomorphized God.
When Jesus preached, he said, "I am The Way" - just something to think about.
