Hawaii has corruption on par with 3rd world places where bribery is just a cost of doing business.

Essentially true. The sin is intentionally getting drunk. What if someone spikes your drink? You aren't responsible. What if you accidentally get drunk? That's more like negligence/imprudent behavior - but it's always sinful to "get drunk" on purpose.

This rings true. The Israeli forces are good but we shouldn't assume that they instigated this just because we want to believe they couldn't have been caught off guard during a holiday.

They clearly announced these were likely GOP primary voters in New Hampshire. A pretty friendly audience but one willing to consider other republicans.

Not bipartisan... it was Republicans and independents who may or may not vote for Trump in the primary. Not a MAGA audience or one with a bunch of liberals, an apparently legit GOP primary voting audience.

The real scheme appears too elaborate to infer from the previously known details. If you see a plane and then things blow up you don't necessarily suspect a signaling buoy to trigger dropping from the plane.

Yeah, definitely a shocker that the story is Norway and not the UK. Makes sense in retrospect but was not really foreseeable with my/our level of knowledge.

If true, Kamala's widely reported complaint showed that she was WAY out of the loop... thinking that Biden cut her out.

I didn't read it as a joke... it's very possible she will be haunted by this and her husband will die and she'll be left wondering.

It did clearly let us know that it wanted to, however

Just FYI, only the voting members-elect count. So if they had really "walked out" the Democrats would have obtained a majority. They just walked out during his speech and came back to vote.

Battery tech has been the weak link in our entire technology chain for decades.

Remember they use "QAnon" so "QElon" is actually clever in that context - it's not really how his name is pronounced and QAnon is meaningless but pretty good for the left.

These ideas about our decline have been organized and studied at http://www.ourcivilisation.com/index.htm for about 20 years. He has used "matrist" and "patrist" and you may be able to search the internet for more information using those terms.

When Jesus preached, he said, "I am The Way" - just something to think about.

Fake news - seats can flip either way so the reporting has been bad. There are 20 seats left to call with Republicans leading in 10. The "real" count is 211R to 204D. So as the final races wind down they aren't likely to change leads. 218R is just about rock solid but these things can't really be known. Interestingly, 218-217 would be maximum drama. You probably need 222ish to run the house properly.

She doesn't need to disavow her abortion stance per se. She can probably just say constitutionally it is left to the states. Which, btw, it is... and was McCain's stance when he ran for president. Cynical, accurate, opportunistic, sounds moderate - perfect for her.

He's head of state so he is probably considered Anglican while in England. Surely he was baptized.

Interestingly, if the Queen truly died in Scotland she died as a Presbyterian.
