If you look at the world's most densely populated cities and see how many people you can get into a square mile you realise that all 8 billion of us could fit into a state like Oklahoma.
Part of the trouble is that the overpopulation proponents all live in large, crowded cities so they think that we all do. I am sure that many would get agoraphobia if they moved to, say, Alaska.
I live in the UK and Wyoming is about as big as the UK but only has the population of my nearest city.
The other missing idea is that they claim that if there were too many people then many would starve so that is why they need to do things their way. Why not leave it to God to sort out? I know who I would rather trust to get it right.
Buddha prophesied that far in the future the Human beings would be as thick as trees in dense forest ( eg many, many), at that time they will be very virtuous ( eg pure morality)....
The world's population number itself is pure fabrication.
They use overpopulation as an excuse.

Just cor fun, which state (or states) could handle the waste produced by the world´s population in Texas. Or produce the food to feed them.

And Texas can fit in half of Alaska.
