Hard to explain! I'm thinking it's a personal matter on my end, some anxiety related to some thorns in my side. But I felt like this prior to a big tsunami in 2004, only time it connected to a big world event.
I'm also finding myself fully awake at the witching hour with an urgency to pray for infants, no idea where, why.... but there is a lot of pain associated with the urgency, like the infants are in pain and I'm asking the Lord to relieve their pain.
Any of this resonate?
It's not fear I'm feeling. More like waves of emotional pain, but not my own. I did hospice care for a long time, complex pain was my specialty. I could feel when death would be coming, not death itself, but the pain and suffering that death causes in others, in the family at the bedside.
"Anticipatory" describes it well. I may have some fear going on with a personal matter, could be confusing things so investigating that (have been the last 3 days).
It's all subjective! But so real to me
As one empath to another (and I did hospice too, for 22 years) we are reminded that we are all one consciousness even the dark souls among us. We feel the effects of the harm they cause And we feel the positive energy that compassionate people create. People like to tell us we must "establish boundaries" and practice "their pain is not my pain" etc. However that has never been possible for me. What you describe as harm happening to children and that they need saving, is, unfortunately, reality. It is happening. If you feel this protectiveness and worry, it is not without cause. And much worse than most people are comprehending. As for the theory that God never informs a person via emotions that cause anxiety, I beg to differ. It is our own emotions that cause the anxiety, not God. The times in my life when I received visions of warning, my emotional reaction was not good because they scared me! But because I had those warnings, someone who was in great danger was saved. Considering that the devil would have enjoyed a tragedy, I quite doubt he was responsible for a very specific and timely warning that a child's life was in dire jeopardy.
Agree. Also work with dying clients.
Pray on.
