My aunt and uncle check out estate sales to buy wine glasses - nice ones, like Waterford.
He told my mom that it is a shame because people spent a lot of money on very nice stuff. Part of it is few people entertain at home outside the holidays. But you have a lot of people who have been brought up in a society that treats everything as disposable. They would rather buy cheap crap at Target.
