From what I've seen, Gaetz is the real deal Holyfield - he is saying the J6 patsies need to be released - but the way to actually accomplish that is by releasing that footage. You have to play the game, participate in the process and all that jazz unfortunately, and Gaetz is a pretty skilled player. I feel like no one is completely clean in D.C. and I am sure someone might have evidence of him being shitty in some regard. Still he's one of the few that is legit fighting the right battles and has own political agenda well aligned with Trump & We the People. We can't be so discerning and picky that we toss out all our best soldiers, is all I am getting at.
I will give Gaetz one thing - on January 6th he knew exactly what the fuck was going on and let those fuckers on the floor know. I gained a lot of respect for him for that one. Really wish I could find the video clip of it now.
As for the footage itself, I wonder how AG Garland's latest kicking of the can might affect potential requests by Congress or FOIA. This was in part a reason for the endless J6 investigation "unfortunately I cannot answer that because it is related to an ongoing investigation" a.k.a. the Wray-Garland-Mayorkas doctrine. It's their own labyrinthine method of pleading the 5th; just keep investigations open endlessly into all of your fuck ups and you never have to let out the potentially damning evidence. Dems LOVE 'process'.
