Go buy a cheap pistol at the very least and learn to put rounds on target. We need all the backup we can get.

Another variable is will you be able to get to it post fire? Will it fall through and be buried in rubble? In the hottest burning part of the house? Does it have suitable fire/heat resistance rating?
