HAPPY THANKSGIVING, FRENS! 🤗♥️
I thought I could share this formatting cheat sheet here:
MAIN TITLE
italics text
I will not not ignore any valuable contributions of yours, Frens.🙏🏻
subtitle
- bold item: normal text
- other item
quote
3 underscores is an horizontal separator and to display code, just preceed everything with 4 spaces.
Here’s the source code of the formatted part above:
___
# MAIN TITLE
*italics text*
I will not ~~not~~ ignore any valuable contributions of yours, Frens.🙏🏻
## subtitle
* **bold item:** normal text
* other item
> quote
___
The other features I have yet not needed/looked for.
👉🏻 If there’s some other tip you know how, just comment about them and I will extend the post accordingly.🙏🏻
Edit: u/bubble_burst also shared an easier way to display code: 🙏🏻
Also, there is an easy way to display code. Put 3 "tic" (« backquotes ») without space between them, before and after the code:
Code goes here.

...
More code
Edit: u/ProudOfAmerica shared this link to the Mother of All Formatting Guides: 🙏🏻

Warning: all of this is not going to work here… it’s informative but YMMV.
Edit: u/FractalizingIron has another tip to display text as code:
I think three tilde before and after will also force a text to be displayed as code.
e.g.:
My chickens are *strong chickens*
My chickens are strong chickens
I use this for sections where I want to display a quote by without the interference of what .win does to the formatting.
He also rightly suggests to remind us of displaying Q drops:
u/#q55
u/#q55
Edit: u/VERITASAEQUITAS tells us about larger quote blocks:
>You can make larger blocks of quote by adding '>' to every line.
>
>This way it won't break up into multiple quote blocks.
You can make larger blocks of quote by adding '>' to every line.
This way it won't break up into multiple quote blocks.
Thanks for people like me who know nothing about this technology.
Even reading this it confuses me.
Happy Thanksgiving.
