Was about to say. It was considered a symbol of good fortune before the Nazis adopted the mirrored version.

For this reason, it's even in the original The Legend of Zelda, under its Japanese name, manji. The third dungeon is shaped like it.

That being said, the scumbags in the photo DO NOT get the benefit of the doubt. This was deliberate.

Correct. After the Nazis bastardized the symbol, political types are very sensitive about being caught anywhere near swastikas. All these people have handlers especially Klaus the German. And he or his people didn’t notice?
