This behavior was TAUGHT to them & they were praised highly for it. They were taught to ignore their gut instinct,

Most of these people are 5th and 6th generation "raised like weeds", unattended and uncared for.

Some people fall to gangs for their missing families.... the ones that didn't thought their churches or their government were safe bets, because they didn't look like gangs to them.
