Looking familiar. Ukraine is taking it on the chin.

pray for the people there too poor to leave and too proud not to be Russian.
What, nobody here believed Russia was losing did they?
I believed Russia was winning this, however, there weren't any consistent and reliable sources one way or another.
Ukraine has been receiving so much cash from around the world they should be a first world nation by now.

This is where I get my information on the Ukraine SMO.. It leans towards the Russian side but still criticizes some of the choices made by the Russian military. It has some shills in the comments, but most people have a respectful discussion.
Some of the poorest third world countries received some of the most amount of cash, that there is a new physical law: "The more money west pumps into a country, the poorer it becomes"
Most of those cases are things like IMF loans, which are the predatory loans in the real sense. I forget which country, for example, that got a billion dollar loan at one point and after repaying for decades they still owed more than the original loan.
That part of the comment was something of a joke though, because it's not like the money is going into their official funds, but more like politicians pockets.
The nEws is completely fabricated. Bunch of ex mil Intel guys who suck at their jobs have this stuff all wrong.
A few major highways and half dozen railways and Ukraine is screwed.
Ukrainian leadership, Vickie Nuland selected, scurrying out the backdoor with the USA payoff loot to allow their people to be genocided by the traditional method, War.
They were being considerate for the livelihood of defense contractors.
Well put.
I continue to be dumbstruck by the fools who ever thought for one second Ukraine had a snowballs chance in hell against Russia. Mind boggling...being that stupid and ignorant.
Good
Russia’s not doing very good either.
You still watch TV don't you?
Actually, I don’t. I just looked at the two pictures and I see fewer lights outside of Ukraine between the 2 pictures.
Different average brightness levels. Fewer lights in Poland and Romania, as well. Significant large cities still bright in Russia.
On the contrary. As a Russian and Ukrainian speaking American, I would urge you to check your sources, friend. Russia is winning bigly.
Even my Ukrainian neighbors say it will be over in a few weeks. Ukraine has crumbled but Zelenskippity hasn’t accepted the reality yet..
My source is the pictures in the post. I don’t doubt that the Nazis are getting their butts roasted, but the picture shows fewer lights outside of the Ukraine borders too.
No, that is not a source.. and if you don’t understand that much, you clearly should not be posting at all.
We pride ourselves here in keeping this place free of mis and disinformation. Please respect it.
Excuse me—someone posted pictures that show before and after of Ukraine and surrounding areas. Yes, Ukraine has fewer lights by quite a bit, but if you look beyond Ukraine’s border, the surrounding areas also have diminished lighting (though not as bad as Ukraine). I’m not supposed to observe what the original poster put up? I’m not to use what the op posted as evidence?
That’s a bit unreasonable.
It’s possible the whole satellite view was photoshopped—or are we now trusting sources such as this? Disinformation is everywhere. Personally I believe the Nazis in Ukraine and their money-grubbing prez should be wiped off the face of the earth along with their allies—no matter where they are. I don’t believe that the Ukrainian forces are defeating the Russian forces. I just don’t think the satellite view offered here is the best evidence.
Misleading. Different average brightness levels. Fewer lights in Poland and Romania, but they have had no war damage.
You are beli3ving propaganda.
I’m just looking at the picture (which is propoganda in itself)—I don’t “believe” this photo. I don’t know what in this info war has been photoshopped or not.
Once upon a time I was told that when someone asked where you learned about something the last thing you wanted to say to validate it as an accurate source was: "its on the internet ".
Everything is now on the internet.
My neighbor here in Ao Nang, TH is Ukrainian. I'll believe him over any "MSM" source. He says his family and most he knows has fled and media is all propaganda.
I’m glad your neighbor was able to escape. I don’t doubt that the Nazis have made Ukraine a hell. It’s all propoganda—eme this picture that shows fewer lights both inside of and outside of Ukraine.
