Any and all books by Terry Pratchett, but "Hogfather" is of a holiday bent and will make you shoot beverages out of your nose. Best opened before Christmas

"Take a Look at the Five and Ten" by Connie Willis Best before Christmas

Thank you! I have gifts to buy for ages 10 - 91. Most are interested in mysteries and the older ones are interested in politics. So the list above is helpful.
