exactly. see my reply to his comment. Plato was dead wrong in his speculations, we don't shed the body like a snake skin in order to enter some idealistic ethereal realm. The physical and spiritual will go together in a glorified, redeemed eschaton. This was the main point of contention between Hellenistic Greeks and the Christian movement in the first century.
The purified body of Christ's holy church (the people) will be reunited with the soul (Jesus) of the holy church. I've heard this interpretation as well.
I'm a non-believer mate, so take what I say with a grain of salt because let's face it you probably know more about religion than I do.
That always cracks me up, ya know? A plumber didn't generally know more about teeth than a dentist, so why would an atheist know more about a specific faith than a person of that faith?
Now if you want to learn about non-believers, I'm your guy. But I don't put believers down, any more than plumber insults his dentist for knowing what kind of bond to use on teeth but not on a pipe. There's a lot of ass hole non-believers (and there's ass hole believers tool). I think the best outcome is when we all work together, because let's face it: people need dentists and plumbers.
When I find I need spirituality, or need to understand something religious that I don't understand, you've all been very kind and helpful. You're my divine endontists, and sometimes I need a good holy root canal.

Porcelain or gold crowns? What do you recommend?
Much appreciated.
