But ONLY Sodom and Gomorrah. That part about Lot being raped by his daughters, yeah just forget you read that. In fact, don't read that part. It hasn't aged well and puts the morality of the old testament in a different light... as in it kills all moral authority the Bible tries to claim it has...
Do you think the Bible includes that as a prescription of what people SHOULD do? That just describes how the tribes of the Moabites and Ammonites, who were such a problem to Israel, came from. In the 10 Commandments incest was forbidden.
It's bizarre how some people act like every single word in the Bible is a commandment.
