I hope Christmas shopping online wakes up the masses this year. I’ve never seen such outrageous shipping prices. I do more online shopping than local. The better shops are an hour away in a very busy city. The traffic and parking is way worse from November through December. My local town doesn’t have as many decent shops. A few examples of shipping prices I’ve seen: A small 2 oz bottle of face serum is $18.64 and $16.04 for shipping. Many small businesses that sell natural products will give free shipping if you spend 50 bucks, it varies. Others charge shipping because they can. I’ve shopped small business for gifts and personal care over five years and always got free shipping. I don’t blame the shops mostly, I do think some are trying to make money on shipping but most are just trying to survive. You know those thin clothes head bands females wear and the face wraps fishermen use to block the sun. My favorite ones were on sale for $4 and they wanted $6 to ship something the size and weight of a bandanna. Sorry, just a rant. I know why shipping prices have increased. I sure hope it’s opening eyes.
The local places here do not offer much, I do all of my shopping on line for years now.It saves on gas, I have an autoimmune disease and I dont like to be around a lot of people I can get sick from (this was long before the covid scam).
I understand that very well. I’ve had chronic pain about twenty five years. Many times I don’t go out like I once did. Research herbs that help protect your immunity. I’ve learned many plants are just as good or better than vitamins. If you are on prescription medication double check side effect of an herb interactions with medication. For example, St. John’s wort makes some psychological meds stop working.
