Not sure. Not sure how you’d find that out, either.
The only SS travel news I’ve seen was when the head counsel/the SS got outed for following Clinton 2016 advice on purchasing airline tickets outside of the normal guidelines and they were found to have overpaid $4 million because of it.
I haven’t been able to find anything else either, so this is either a big nothingburger (normal way of handling rental cars, and an unlucky fire that will sooner or later statistically happen if SS rents thousands of cars every year), or huuuge news.
I’m not arguing the story that the SS rented 5 cars, and the burned later at the airport.
My question is, how normal is it for the SS to use rental cars?
Cates argued that the real SS wouldn’t use rental cars, and that the real SS cars would be used somewhere else for the real POTUS.
I really like that explanation, but for that to be true, rental cars for the SS would be something new (<2 years).
Do we know that to be true?

I don’t know yet what to think.
