Trumpets you say? Sounds Biblical.
Mormons have a trumpet playing angel perched atop all of their temples. These guys are Mormon and live in Provo/Orem Utah near Brigham Young University (my alma mater). Mormonism’s founder, Joseph Smith, once prophesied that in the future, the United States Constitution, which he believed was inspired by God, would be “hanging by a thread” and that mormon lawyers would end up saving it somehow.
I’m not Mormon anymore but I believe in the gift of prophecy and I have written a theory here before that one of the goals of Joseph Smith in writing the Book of Mormon was to expose the Satanic cabal we’re fighting now. He was a mason, as evidenced by the ceremonies and oaths and penalties he used in his temples (many of which they still use today), and in the book he writes about an ancient secret society, inspired by the Devil himself, which used secret signs and handshakes and blood oaths to undermine the supposedly ancient Nephite Republic for generations until ultimately it succumbed and collapsed. The Book of Mormon says this land is consecrated to Jesus Christ, and that any people who fails to believe in him will be destroyed. It also prophesies that in the “latter days” that inspired men will create this country, and will fight their own wars, but that ultimately the prophecies and testimonies found in the Book of Mormon and the Bible will inspire the people here, that this will become a new Jerusalem, and that Christ will return and destroy the devil once and for all (well, for 1,000 years at least).
Fascinating stuff. A lot of evil has been written about Joseph Smith, which had a lot to do with why so many people, myself included, have left the Mormon church. But watching Donald Trump fight the cabal and the fake news, I’m honestly starting to wonder how much of that stuff I can really believe. One thing is for sure: most people who leave Mormonism don’t usually find themselves right of the political aisle, and they usually spend quite a bit of time angry and bitter and rejecting all things Godly and Christian. Definitely makes me wonder.
