Its the type where you can't sleep at all because your nose is so stuffy, you are oversalivating big time, you are vomiting 1 to 3 times a day, and your entire body aches just sitting there.
I have gotten about an hour or so of sleep in the past three days, fever up to 102.7, my latest vomiting thing produced a nosebleed. I have an assignment due tomorrow but i haven't finished it yet because i've been sick. My parents refuse to get me Ivermectin despite being redpilled, and I'm taking a regimen of Codeine, DayQuil, NyQuil, nasal spray, salt water, ice chips, etc. Hardly any of it is really helpful.
For some reason I am coughing really really hard, much harder than anyone coughs. It hasn't physically bruised my throat yet, but I'm worried that it might. MY stepmom, who is a nurse, finally thought to look at my throat today, where my Uvula is about twice as large as normal. Despite taking all sorts of medications to help me fall asleep, my mind, like any anon's, is always running, and when I get sick its literally impossible to turn it down so i can sleep.
Anyone have other home remedies to feel better? Hot tea, even chicken noodle soup, is ineffective on the uvuala's swelling. I'm coughing so hard i can bring myself to gag in about 6 consecutive coughs. Certain vomiting with 7.
Hope you're all better, anon! You doing okay now or still battling the flu? I'm praying for your health.
I came down with the cough-from-hell about the same time you got your flu and it is lingering still (but not as bad now). At least I didn't have the full-blown flu like you did. But that cough was causing serious issues with my body. I'm 58 years old and I've never had a cough like this before. It's the after-effects of the coughing fit that was so odd. Like having a full-blown heart attack after every fit. My entire torso felt like a million pin-pricks and my chest felt like a never-ending leg cramp. Had to sleep inclined because for some reason that helped diminish that throat tickle. I don't know what those maniacs have unleashed this time, but it isn't fun and I pray my children don't catch it.
