But there really isn't any wiggle room with loving your enemies and treating others the way you want to be treated. Even if someone is shitty towards us, the expectation is that we take the higher road and prove a higher way of thinking by simply walking away when the time is right. Unless someone is trying to force you to do something, there really is no reason to get mean or defensive. They can't make you do anything you don't want to. No one can. Not even God... mainly cause that's how He designed it and chooses to be. He wants us to choose Him because it's what WE want, not because your grandma wants it.
