Contrary to the anti-Trump mythology, I gather that Trump, in his private life, is actually very welcoming and friendly. And he does not abandon friends even if there are optics advantages to doing so (remember him sticking by Lewandowsky when L. was being accused of abusing a women?). So, it is entirely consistent with him accepting Kanye (a friend) with people he vouched for. Were they a threat? No. And because it means NOTHING, it will be a nothingburger. The only people who will be impressed would be lefty Democrats (who would never vote for him anyway).
