Uh, who besides his already loyal/obedient base thinks this dinner makes trump look good to?
I’m not saying it makes him look good, or bad for that matter. What appears to be happening is the RINO Establishment rushed to condemn him for hosting this group.
Now it is coming out he sincerely didn’t know Kanye was bringing an entourage. He didn’t know who this Fuentes character is, and at some point he asked the whole group to leave. Nothing he did in this instance deserved the condemnation from the Establishment. But, they are desperate to stop President Trump.
My take on this is President Trump will use this as a demonstration that he is still a political outsider, and, in fact, the only political outsider in all the names being floated for the Republican nomination. And, the insiders fear him and will unfairly smear him because he is determined to take power away from them and return it to the people.
So the former president of the United States had no idea who he was letting into his home? You don’t see that as a security risk? A lapse in judgement?
Security threat, no, the Secret Service would have made sure they were not a security risk. And, from what I’ve read they were hosted in rhe Mar-a-Lago club side, not the President’s private residence. President Trump said in a Truth post they dined in a patio area where other members were present.
Lapse of judgment? Maybe. President Trump had already agreed to meet Kanye so he had calculated the pros and cons on that visit. But, he had to do a calculation on the fly when West brought an entourage. My only guess there is President Trump figured it would create more of a spectacle to refuse Kanye and his entourage.
And now, it has already come out, with admissions from the individuals that they wanted to make President Trump look bad.

So, yeah, you’re right, the worst thing President Trump can be accused of was a lapse of judgment in trusting that Kanye had no ill internt. And, the real question about that meeting is why would Kanye and that entourage want to make President Trump look bad?
