I think you may be right about bringing attention to Balenciaga. He is also wearing a vtm turbo jacket that is made by Vetements. Demna Gvasalia is the co-founder of Vetements and is the lead designer for Balenciaga.
He wore Adidas after they cancelled him. Seems calculated to generate headlines to me.
