Try not to be offended. I’m not praising or defending any heinous historical figures. Hitler was bad. People around him were bad. Nazis are bad. Mussolini was bad.
Fascism was bad. It still is bad. Unworthy of emulation in any respect they exemplify how not to be. They confidently condemned. I try to avoid that. I believe there’s a Christic admonition about it. Matthew iirc. I probably misinterpreted it, but not to excuse them.
I think damning with faint praise was my intent. Adolph is just an ordinary name. He was a dope and a dupe. It diminishes him not to use his infamous surname. It degrades him to say he lifted his schtick, especially from an Italian sausage in a general’s uniform.
I’m skeptical of all historical narratives, but it’s pretty clear the 3rd Reich was wantonly evil. They badly misinterpreted Nietsche, and clearly understood Hegel’s jibberish. I’m glad WW2 ended with complete unconditional surrender. I’m also sad Stalin was handed Eastern Europe on a platter by Winston, and Franklin. Heck, I’m sad the Austro-Hungarian Empire collapsed. I’m sad Juarez executed Maximilian, and his wife too. Oh well. I’m sad 2020 was stolen too. I’m just trying not to become cynical. So i joke about tragedies.
Mein Kampf. My struggle. Against becoming a type of Diogenes. This is my manifesto! (More stupid joking) And thanks for the amusing interchange. Be well.
Yes because if we didn't use friendly first names and catchy nicknames for mass-murdering fascist dictators, that would suck
