A few months back, stories of “suspicious” fires at food-production plants raged across the media. The narrative said the sites were being sabotaged to disrupt the food supply. And it was most likely wrong. But that doesn’t mean there is no effort on the part of Western elites to put the peasants on a strict diet. Most by now have seen reports that Dutch officials are closing as many as 3,000 farms in the Netherlands, the world’s second-largest exporter of agricultural products by value even though it’s only slightly larger than Maryland, to comply with crackpot European Union carbon dioxide emissions rules. While it’s clear our food supply is manipulated and depop/sterility are clearly goals, the claims about stevia affecting female fertility are highly exaggerated. It has been used for thousands of years by multiple traditional cultures without problems. High blood sugar/diabetes is a far higher risk to fertility and successful child bearing for both men AND women, and the food industry MASSIVELY promotes a blood-sugar-unfriendly lifestyle, as anyone can clearly see. Many people find stevia helps them correct these problems and actually improve fertility as a result. Some brands of stevia are much more pure and naturally processed than others, and everyone should be able to make their own decisions about whatever goes into their bodies, but my personal experience and observations of many stevia-using friends with very large families does not show any ill effects from its use. For perspective, our family is currently expecting #15, and stevia (Trim Healthy Mama brand primarily, but we use others on occasion) has been our main sweetener for over 6 years, in which time we’ve had 4 children plus the new one on the way. Mama is now in her 40’s and still going strong, with much easier pregnancies since discovering stevia than those she had 2 decades ago. 😉
