This is true with all directed energy at sufficient power levels. AM radio will make you nauseous if someone focuses the transmission at you at high wattage. Change that to an omnidirectional transmission and it suddenly suffers from the inverse square law.
I will also note that most of the anecdotal "zomg 5g illness" i suspect is confirmation bias as 5G for the vast majority of people right now is 4G with a new icon.
5G is superstition. Millimeter-wave technology has been around (to my knowledge) since the 1980s. No known health effects. We get it from the Sun. Notice that it is all the people who don't know beans about the physics or the technology who are raising alarm.
It happened with 2, 3, and 4 gs - yet somehow mysterious illnesses are confined to a sub-percentage number of individuals.
Assuming the pretense of radio waves were tied to the Spanish flu, how do you explain that we arent all suffering from Spanish Flu pretty much 100% of the time now? Human-sourced emissions have increased thousands fold.
