I have never read Flat Earth Society materials. It doesn't matter who you know and what they think. Magical thinking would be to believe astronomical bodies are projected onto a giant snowglobe in the sky to trick us into thinking spherical celestial objects are the rule.

The gravitational constant on the earth is not constant. It can be measured and varies. This remind me of all the magic numbers that science uses. Plank constant, Gravitational constant, load more but drawing a blank.

Serious question, if the earth is flat, why do they have to calculate for the curvature of the earth in distance calcs?
