well yea, 50 was just a round number and would probably account for the time frame that most people on these forums have lived through. I know we have a few senior pedes around here but they know it goes back further than 50 years.

I'm no history expert, but in my estimation, it's kind of even weird to refer to wars as I, II, III etc.... because when it comes to the "world war" .... when did it end? Has it not been the exact same war this entire time? It's like a continuation of every time. For example, look at the rhetoric involving hitler, nazi germany etc.I thought that was WWII??? It never ended guys. The narrative changed, and people believed revisionist history.... but if "WWIII" is about to start, and all of the rhetoric is surrounding nazi's.... isn't it still WWII? Wasn't WWII a continuation of WWI? Etc.
