"Cheers" star Kirstie Alley died on Monday after a battle with cancer that was only "recently discovered," her family said. The Emmy Award-winning actress was 71.

The thinking on this page is puerile. Fast-acting cancers have been from forever. My former spouse came down rapidly with pancreatic cancer and that was a decade ago. The damn vaccination may make it more common, but it has always been present among us, and imagining victims to have been assassinated is sheer fantasy. What do you think we are? Immortal? That no one dies unless they are assassinated? That is paranoid psychosis.
