Link below is an article about a survey of NFL fans about the rudest fans, players and coaches in the league. Of course I expected my Raiders to be high on the list of rudest fans. What I didn't expect, however, was the mention of transgenders in the paragraph about the polling data.

The article says that 1,150 NFL fans were polled, and they made sure to mention that 2% of the respondents were transgender (along with 50% male and 48% female).
It just kinda threw me off a lil, because 1) I wasn't expecting to see it mentioned and 2) if that's a random sampling then 2% seems pretty notable. I grew up in a pretty small town of about 15,000 people, so to think that it's statistically probable that there are now 300 trannies running around in my small hometown is pretty crazy to think about. Of course they could just be lying about those numbers.
Overall, the Williams Institute found that the percentage of adults who identify as transgender has remained steady at 0.6% since its last report in 2017, but there has been a sharp rise in transgender people ages 13 to 24.
The study found that 1.4% of 13- to 17-year-olds and 1.3% of 18- to 24-year-olds identify as transgender. Five years ago, both of those numbers stood at 0.7%. Together, the two groups are estimated to account for nearly 700,000 people.

SO WHY IS IT PUSHED IN OUR FACE ALL THE TIME?
