If they are illegals, they HAVE to work for cash under the table, since regular wages have to include social security payments, and other such things, based on a social security number (not to say that they couldn't just use some dead person's number)

You'd be surprised at how many use SSNs that aren't theirs...

And if they ever have had an approved work visa, they probably have a SSN.
