The Autism spectrum is huge. I work with special needs kids , some with autism . If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism. They are all different. I work(ed) with some of the more severe cases. Some similarities such as aversion to loud noises and the love of watching videos over and over again , usually replaying a favorite few seconds.
The best part of all the special needs kids is their innocence and honesty. If you ask them a question you will get an honest response. No filters. Love those kids. I laugh and smile a lot in my job.
Yes, the spectrum is huge. You've worked with special needs kids. Good.
I know a number of ADULTS on the spectrum including professional writers, doctors, and attorneys. Once you work around or with them you begin to recognize particular mannerisms, speech cadences and physical tells that identify them. Body posture is a big one. Being on the spectrum in some cases is beneficial to helping them in their singular focus or interests, making many very hard workers or specialists in their field.
I also know others who are so odd they have to inhabit environments where they have nearly zero interaction with others, as they are so off-putting in their behavior towards others that they prefer to live a cloistered lifestyle.
Regardless, my statement about this Bruno character stands.
