But the time to buy gold was back in the late 70s when it was still cheap. Most people can't buy even a single ounce of it now.
And silver is hard to find now. I did get some of that back when it was lower. It will jump in price when people try to cash in the paper silver for metal.
Most people would rather buy a new cell phone or go out for dinner or lunch once or twice a week instead of investing in the future. Most people are fast asleep and do not understand what is about to happen.
Most people I know don't make enough to buy an ounce of gold. And you can get a cell phone, if you absolutely must have one, for $29.99 at the dollar store. I don't have one. I scrimp and save and stockpile, but it would be hard for me to buy an ounce of gold now.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
"Where there's a will, I want to be in it." I used to work at a law firm and gave someone a bumper sticker with that slogan on it. :)
Someone getting less than $1,000 a month in SS will never buy an ounce of gold.
