Exactly. When he says "Kids want to be all kinds of things when they grow up. I wanted to be a pirate. Thank God they didn't schedule me for peg-leg surgery and eye removal!" or "Trans is ‘trendy,’ but maybe there are ‘solutions’ for struggling youth besides ‘Hand me the dick saw!’" it makes people laugh and embrace the truth in the same moment.
