It's like the argument I keep hearing of why communism and socialism never work. They say it hasn't worked because of the existence of an alternative such as capitalism. So their plan doesn't work because some people do not participate in it which is why we should all be 100% mind-numbed robots just doing what we are told like the Chinese.
