Can't find the link on such short notice, but a number of months ago I saw a report from Ukraine where people were acting like war-torn refugees in the Ukraine train station with cameras and other reporters filming them and asking questions. Meanwhile, everyone else around was acting like nothing was wrong and going about their business.
Me thinks Ukraine is intentionally acting like the war is much worse than it is for the sole purpose of milking as much money and military resources as possible out of the situation while they bomb their own people into oblivion.
