I was hired for a really great role at a great company. Three Zoom interviews and no mention of the vax. The hiring manager told me upper management had loved me.
I was all set to begin work soon and then this email came:
“I hope you are well.
Would you please forward your proof of vaccination and boosters to us so we can have them on file?“
To which I responded that I was not vaccinated. Two days later they fired me in an email, saying should I wish to get vaxed, they would consider talking to me again.
Standing strong in my truth today, but it stings a little....
I had a phone call about a new job last week. We talked about money at the end of our call, and then the last thing I asked before we hung up was about their jab mandate. She said it is no longer in effect, and they no longer require regular testing of un-jabbed employees. I'm hesitant to accept the role if I'm offered. But my current employer, in the same field of work, had a jab mandate, and almost fired me before our parent company sold us off. They quietly backed off the mandate after threatening my job for months and months. I was prepared to let them fire me, but I was not quitting and I was sure as shit not getting jabbed. I also told then unequivocally I would not be testing, and brought up lawsuits with HR when they threatened me again. They backed off me, and the HR diversity hire jogger absolutely loathes me because I have a backbone, but others who capitulated are still testing weekly.
Still testing? That's mind boggling. What country or state?
The good ol United States, a very red state I might add
There you go! Awesome to here friend!
Oy, still testing with a test that's not designed to be a coof test. The number of ignorant normies and brainwashed sheeple - especially within businesses - at this point in the game is astounding.
Same. I think my company still has vax mandate on their careers page, but they do not enforce. Last year, October through January 4 was a living hell of worry.
Now I’m just claiming religious exemption and making it clear my lawyer will be seeing 100 years of salary/earnings if they give me any more shit about it.
