Consider that left-leaning servicemen and women - or at least those who aren't rabid leftists - are very unhappy about this, thinking that, should they ever be captured by an enemy, they can't count on a government like our current one appears to be to get them freed. This trade/swap just drove more wedges between patriots and the corrupt, anti-American left.
