OK having rewatched this, I see your point. The teacher should have sent them out on "safety grounds" as there were too many mats in one room. As crowded as that looked, it is a safety hazard.

How exactly do you propose she do it if she is stuck inside the room and they are refusing to move. First step would be to get out of the room - which is what she was doing.
it is a safety hazard.
You seem to be still missing the point, or being intentionally obtuse. This is got nothing to do with safety. It has to do with passive aggressive harassment, and occupying your private space.
apparently I missed the point. The private space should not have been invaded without permission. There likely were other places they could have gone, and they should have been told so before they entered her space. Both the initiator of the event and the principal should have known better.
The problem with you is that somehow you keep thinking that this event was a benign event and all you have to do is to tell those poor mistaken folks that this was not the right place to be in. Obviously you have no idea how they harass non-woke professors in schools like this.
Actually, I didn't. Thank you for pointing this out.
However:
The designated private space should not have been invaded without permission. There likely were other places they could have gone, and they should have been told so before they entered her space. Both the initiator of the event and the principal should have known better.
Further, she should be reinstated with back pay. Sometimes I respond on a thread with first impression. I'll watch out for that, especially when I'm in a state of can't sleep due to a bit of back pain.

There should be an intercom in her room, which she can use to request help in clearing a path for herself and others.
