I wanted to fly the Brazilian flag below our American flag on the pole, however the Flag Code says only one flag per pole. Since we only have one flag pole, there it is.
We chose to honor other Nations several times a year and fly the flag of Ireland, Italy on Liberation Day (April 25), our 2A flag as well as other American flags such as "Betsy Ross" flag and "An Appeal to Heaven" Flag which was used by George Washington.
On June 5 & 6 we do as the French do along the Normandy Coast from Utah Beach to Pegasus Bridge and fly pennants of the U S, British, Canada, Free French and the Flag of Normandy. We begin on June 5 because that is when the Pathfinders jumped in the set the beacons to guide the C-47's that dropped the Paratroopers. In our small town on the Texas Coast people travel the streets in their golf carts and they stop to ask us about our flags and their meaning. We have enlightened many people and they love learning.
History and the Remembrance of history is our way to Honor our Republic and other Nations.

I’m flying the American flag a huge Pledge of Allegiance plaque in my window and a big garden flag that says “ we the people , the American eagle and the constitution written on it!
Supporting Brazil is something we all should be doing ! They hit the streets demanding to be heard .. it’s a lot of effort and guts, we sit in our homes on our keyboards waiting for a plan ! I’m not saying we shouldn’t wait or there is not a plan l, I’m simply saying .. Brazil is out there trying to take back there country the least we can do is say “we are with you “ !
