Yep. I'm thankful that most in our circles saw the lies, but hubby's family all have taken several, mils pastor pushed it hard and took scripture out of context to berate a congregant. But even in my circles where it wasn't pushed, no one took a strong stance against. It was just "do whatever you see fit" type advice, which still sickens me.
