Nutrition question: What does lecithin actually do?
I've been taking lecithin for years on the advice of my parents, as part of my daily supplements.
The reason being: I'm autistic, and I'm in my 40s. I was diagnosed over 25 years ago. They said it would help my...quirks.
A few years ago, I learned how bad soy is, so I switched from soy lecithin to sunflower lecithin. However, I'm sure not noticing any real difference.
And then an online friend of mine showed me this link, saying soy lecithin and sunflower lecithin are equally bad for you. I'd never heard of the website before, and looking around it, I still can't come to a conclusion on whether to trust it.
So I turn to you guys. I've made nutritional adjustments based on what I've read here and on the old subreddit over the years, such as taking Vitamin K-2 MK-7, which I do now. And looking on every other win about this turned up nothing on this particular subject.
I take it for psoriasis on my hands and feet. It works miracles.
