I need help finding the protocol of vitamins & minerals for fighting the regular ol' flu

I have a very good friend of mine is dealing with both Flu A&B running rampant they her family. She has 2 kids, aged 13 and 6. I'm trying to find a pediatric protocol for anti viral vitamins/minerals but can't find it in my archives and it seems that TPTB controlling the interwebs are suppressing it. Please advise
